Although Pokemon Go has become one of the most popular games of all time since its release several weeks ago, there are still several issues that have frustrated players. One particularly irksome problem was the fact that team leaders didn’t seem to have any role to play. However, that is set to change with the latest update, with developer Niantic revealing that the team leaders will have a dedicated role from now on.
According to the studio, Candela, Blanche, and Spark will now work with a system called “Implemented Pokemon Appraisal.” This essentially means that when going into battle at gyms a leader will give you a breakdown of the opposition and give you a rundown of the best of your own Pokemon to use in the fight.
The update is currently rolling out across both iOS and Android and should be available for all markets by the end of the week.
