Shovel Knight is one of the most popular games of recent memory. It started out as a Kickstarter, then became a full-on gaming phenomenon, being put into other games, shows, and even getting a special Amiibo figure. What’s more, developer Yacht Club games took their winnings from the main game and made a series of spinoffs/expansions. And now, the last of these are set to arrive soon via Shovel Knight: King of Cards.
King of Cards focuses on King Knight, the “glorious” and “regal” member of the Order of No Quarter, and this expansion shows how he got into the group and got his throne. At PAX West, some gameplay was recorded of it. You can check it out below.
