We’ve got a new wave of consoles on the horizon, and though we’ve seen a lot of interesting trailers, few concepts will be quite as original as what Glob Games Studio is proposing in their Party Crasher Simulator. (Actually, it doesn’t beat Bugsnax, but it’s a close second).
It’s what it sounds like. You will take first-person control of a high school freshman who shows up uninvited to parties and tries to be as much of a pain as possible. You’ve fallen in with a clique of pranksters, and they love nothing better than to sabotage the parties of the popular kids that shun them.
But it won’t be just rival jocks for long! You’re addicted to the power of the prank, and before you know it you’ll be causing chaos at dances, company events, weddings and even funerals. In case you had any doubt, Glob Games is the same studio working on MicroMan.
Karol Marcinkowski, VP at Glob Games, says Party Crasher Simulator “will allow the players to perform a wide variety of actions and pranks. Rotten eggs in the bedroom? Cockroaches in a salad? Playing a young couple against each other? These are only some of the pranks possible in Party Crasher Simulator.”
“The game is in the early stages of development, and the first trailer is rather illustrative,” says Karol. “I can already say that we are preparing a twisted plot, many interesting locations and even more possibilities to pull off elaborate pranks. The player will choose one of the neighborhoods, locate the party, thoroughly explore the area and get to work. Party Crasher Simulator will mainly focus on stealth, but the players will be given a lot of freedom. They will be able to go all John Rambo or use methods based on diplomacy and persuasion. Each party can be ruined in many different ways.”
It’ll be a long time before this title is ready to party, but Glob Games hopes to publish Party Crasher Simulator in the second half of 2021 for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch, XBox One, XBox Series X and PC.
