The Craft Legacy Is Getting An Early Blu-Ray Release
It’s been suggested that if Fairuza Balk had never been cast in The Craft, the movie wouldn’t be half as popular. Her unsettling bug-eyed faces and over-the-top performance were the spice needed to make the concept sing — she made us think we were looking at an actual friggin’ witch! Well, here’s a Craft continuation / remake that has no Balk anywhere in it. And sure enough, the critics didn’t like it that much. The Craft Legacy is getting pushed onto DVD and Blu-Ray less than two months after its opening, which is normally a bad sign — but then again, the flick never really got a chance to play in theaters, it being 2020 and all. If you never bought a virtual ticket, and you prefer solid physical formats, the option will soon exist. And there will be bonuses: Featurettes: Franchise Legacy Powerful Story, Magical Director 4 Alternate Scenes with an Introduction from the Director We can see one of these extended scenes right now, thanks to the studio
The Legend Of Baron To’a Hits This December
Gravitas Ventures & the New Zealand Film Commission have announced they’re bringing the action comedy The Legend Of Baron To’a to US screens next month. It’s bad enough that Fritz has to sell his family home…when he returns there to inspect it, he finds his father’s prize championship belt has been stolen! Fritz is determined to get the belt back, but it’s now in the possession of a dangerous street gang known as the Pig Hunters. Fritz is a bit naive and thinks if he can get the chance to talk things over with gang leader Tahu, the man will understand and return the belt to his family. Instead, Fritz gets a beating for his attempt at kindness. It becomes clear the only way to get the belt back is to challenge and defeat the Pig Hunters in a wrestling match. Can Fritz prove he is just as worthy of the belt as his father was? The Legend Of Baron To’a stars Uli Latukefu, Nathaniel Lees, Jay Laga’aia, Shavaughn Ruakere,
New Deathloop Details: Bonuses And Release Date
Arkane Lyon’s Deathloop is in a weird place. It was declared a Playstation exclusive when it was first announced, but since then, Microsoft has purchased the entirety of Bethesda — the software giant that owns Arkane. This means the studio’s next big release won’t be on their parent company’s system — just the competition. Go figure. Today Arkane revealed the release date for the game, along other details. We’ll be able to pick it up starting May 21, 2021 (assuming no delays from this point). Unfortunately Deathloop has also been confirmed as being exclusive to the next generation of systems — you will need a Playstation 5 to play it on console. And good luck finding one if you didn’t have your name on the batch that was shipped today. It’s too bad you can’t just do what protagonist Colt does and go back in time to get a PS5. But then again, you’d have to do it over and over. Colt is double-marooned, trapped in a time loop AND
Marvel’s WandaVision Bumped Into January
In case you haven’t been keeping up, Disney and Marvel Studios have stated multiple times that WandaVision, the first of several miniseries directly connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, would be out before the end of 2020. We’ve in fact reported this news before. More recently they specified a December release. But as of today we have the specific day, and it’s not in 2020 at all. Way to make a fool out of us, guys! Let’s recap: Vision is an intelligent robot. Wanda is a superheroine known as “The Scarlet Witch.” Both were introduced in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, and like their comic counterparts, they eventually took a shine to each other. Unlike the comics, Vision bit it at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, yet here he is unexplainably alive. WandaVision is shrouded in mystery. The footage in the trailers has consisted entirely of sitcom parodies from multiple eras that portray Wanda and Vision as a domestic couple. They still won’t explain what it’s all about,
Dwayne Johnson Wants To Remake The Scorpion King
Deadline reports that actor Dwayne Johnson is looking to remake the film starring the character that introduced him to cinema — The Scorpion King. He and partner Dany Garcia would produce the hypothetical movie through their Seven Bucks Productions company, and they have summoned Jonathan Herman to write a script. The thing about The Scorpion King is that it was only popular before the movie actually came out. Johnson was hot stuff from his days in the WWE, and everyone wanted to see him branch into movies. When he was rumored to show up in The Mummy Returns, it was a big deal, and probably sold half of its tickets from Rock fanatics alone. ….Then everyone found out Johnson’s presence in the film amounted to his head being grafted onto a cheesy-looking CGI scorpion creature. He was LITERALLY a Scorpion King. Universal did not make the same mistake twice and Johnson was a human man for the actual Scorpion King movie that followed, but I haven’t heard anyone list the
Dead By Daylight’s New Killer Is Two In One
For quite a while now, the additions to the multiplayer horror game Dead By Daylight have been pre-existing characters from other horror franchises. But next month they’ll be adding their first original character in a while…or two, actually. Say hello to Charlotte and Victor Deshayes. Born as conjoined twins in the 17th century, they were hunted by a superstitious community that didn’t understand them. They wound up being shipped to a dark temple where they were experimented on until Victor died. But The Entity (the main villain and force behind the game’s lore) resurrected Victor, gave him the ability to separate from Charlotte, and sent the pair to work for him. Now they wreak angry vengeance on anyone unlucky enough to cross their path. Controlling Victor/Charlotte means controlling both characters at once. Victor seeks out Survivors while Charlotte roams around with her hook (Victor will do this automatically if you don’t control him). Victor can attack Survivors but not kill them — he needs Charlotte to deliver the killing blow,
Dark Horse Announces Comic Series Based On Critical Role’s Mighty Nein
Critical Role is the nation’s most popular D&D liveplay series, and it’s now a multimedia experience. There’s an official Critical Role campaign book issued by D&D itself. There’s an animated series on the way, and the makers even have their own board game publishing label now. This new announcement from Dark Horse, a Critical Role comic book, is just the latest product on the pile at this point. The comic book series is based around the Mighty Nein, the set of characters the cast is taking on in the show’s second series. The comics are prequels, revealing the backstory of each member of the group proper to their joining the Nein. Volume One is all about Laura Bailey’s Jester Lavorre. “Jester Lavorre had an unconventional upbringing, even for one born in cosmopolitan Nicodranas,” says the bio provided by Dark Horse. “Daughter of the famed Ruby of the Sea, she had many opportunities for mischief as a small child, of which she took full advantage! Dive into the mystery of Jester’s
Freakazoid Returns To TV In Special Teen Titans Go Episode
The WB and Amblin’s Freakazoid, from the same team behind Animaniacs, was not a ratings success when it ran for two seasons on the brand-new Kids WB block. But after the reruns began running on Cartoon Network it started attracting a cult following that grew larger every year — but it wasn’t enough to produce new episodes. Of course, lately WB and Amblin have been resurrecting their 90s hits with a new Animaniacs (coming to Hulu in just ten days) and a new Tiny Toons just announced for 2022. That’s got people wondering…why not Freakazoid as well? And we seemed to get a big hint that it might be possible. Late last year Paul Rugg, the voice of Freakazoid, made a cryptic post on social media where he stated that he just got to play a role “I never thought I’d get to play again.” He ended the post with “whooshes off,” referencing the way Freakazoid would pretend-fly around the city (as he couldn’t actually fly). Those who noticed the

The Playstation 5’s Designer Wanted It To Be Even Bigger
Just finding a Playstation 5 is part of the adventure…the other half is finding room for it. The PS5 has blatantly defied the trend in recent years of shrinking consoles, offering up the largest machine they’ve ever produced. It shatters the previous record set by the Playstation 3 at 15.4 inches in diameter. Yujin Morisawa, the designer of the new console, hears your complaints about the size. He too thinks it is too small….wait, WHAT? That’s right, it was supposed to be bigger. “I actually had to shrink it down a little bit from the first drawing,” Morisawa told the Washington Post. He doesn’t specify just how large this beast was supposed to be (Japan is only so large an island), but he was forced to shrink it down by the engineering departmenr. Why’s it so big, Yujin? It’s all about displacing the large amount of heat that all those cutting-edge chips generate. “I knew it was going to be large because I know how much power there was going
Budget Biomorphs: The Making of The Guyver Films Review
The story behind the making of cult films is often more extraordinary than the final product itself, such is the case with The Guyver series of sci-fi action creature features from the early 90’s. Budget Biomorphs: The Making of The Guyver Films by Dom O’Brien finds the author transforming his personal passion for this unique pair of genre films into a well-crafted, engaging narrative filled with insight and photos from all the major players that brought this Japanese manga/anime property to live action for American audiences. My passion for The Guyver is very close to that of O’Brien (though it did not drive me to write a book), in that I discovered the first film on the video rental store shelf in the early 90’s and was mesmerized by its unique blend of horror, comedy and choreographed violence. I had never seen anything like it and found myself renting it multiple times to share with friends. I soon bought my own copy on VHS and tracked down the sequel as
Lady Ballers, Republican’s attempts to make a comedy that crosses the line
“Lady Ballers” is an attempt to revive the early 2000s offensive humor. Hollywood has become politically correct in recent times. Something people found funny from the 80s to the early 2000s is now considered offensive in 2023. The Republican media company Daily Wire has been striving to create an alternative to Hollywood that is not woke or politically correct. The streaming service has just launched its very first full comedy movie, featuring prominent Republican figures such as Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Brett Cooper, and Senator Ted Cruz. The movie is led by Jeremy Boreing, who is the owner and lead founder of Daily Wire. He directed, written and produced debate inducing monster. If you enjoy films like “White Chicks,” “Tropic Thunder,” “Hot Chick,” “Juwanna Mann,” and “Norbit,” this movie pushes those boundaries. While those films were popular in their time, they would face cancellation if made today in 2023. It embraces sleazy and offensive humor without fear of crossing the line. One current debate revolves around whether trans women should be
