Owlman Has Become A Plushie
In 2013 Hex Studios, a Scottish indie film studio, released their horror movie Lord of Tears. The flick’s villain was called the Owlman, and he gained unexpected cultural traction from this clip, which went viral when it was uploaded to YouTube.
Ever since, Owlman has been a star of fanart, fanfiction, creepypasta, and at least one tattoo. Now in 2018 you can cuddle up in bed with him! BEHOLD:
Hex Studios would like to make another horror movie, but they could use some capital. So they’re selling Owlman plushies, only available through Hex’s Kickstarter campaign. Each one comes with its own Cabbage Patch-inspired ‘adoption certificate’ signed by the director, naming you as Baby Owlman’s new parental guardian. It’s a lot of responsibility — are you ready to take it on?
if the campaign is successful, Hex Studios will be making Automata, a chiller about a cursed, life-sized clockwork doll. They can’t do it without you. Adopt an Owlman plushie today!
