One Piece Film: Red Coming To Blu-Ray In July

Now that One Piece Film: Red has completed its journey through the theater circuit, the next stop will be home video. Crunchyroll announced today they plan to make the movie available in disc form this July.

The Straw Hats are big fans of Uta, the world’s most popular masked singer, and when she promises to reveal her face for the first time during a special concert, Luffy just HAS to be there — even though he’s a super-wanted pirate. But he’s destined to find something out about Uta no one knew before — she is the daughter of Shanks.

Special features for One Piece Film Red will include trailers, a web preview and three episodes of the show that relate to the movie’s plot: “A Faint Memory! Luffy and Red-Haired’s Daughter Uta!” “A Pledge for the New Genesis! Luffy and Uta!” and “The Captain’s Log of the Legend! ‘Red-Haired’ Shanks!”

You can check out the box art for One Piece Film: Red below, which they have made clear is NOT FINAL. Crunchyroll also revealed its full Blu-Ray release list for July today, which includes a release of the regular One Piece TV show along with The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2 and an OVA for The Ancient Magus’ Bride.
