Microsoft have revealed the titles that will be available for free to anyone with a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription. The program will include Murdered: Soul Suspect and Super Dungeon Bros on the Xbox One and The Secret of Monkey island: Special Edition and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for the Xbox 360. As is usual, the Xbox 360 titles are also backwards compatible for the Xbox One, meaning those with the next generation console will get access to four games in the month.
Murdered: Soul Suspect was one of the first games released on the Xbox One, having released in 2014. It is a third-person adventure game that blends elements of mystery and stealth together as you attempt to hunt down a famous serial killer in a fictional American town. Meanwhile, Super Dungeon Bros is co-operative game that sees players going on raids in dungeons as they search for loot, fight monsters and meet fabled rock legends.
The Xbox 360 offerings are even more impressive. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is essentially an expansion pack for the original Far Cry 3, with assets swapped to a retro-futuristic setting with comedic elements. The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is a modern remaster of the original point-and-click adventure game from LucasArts.
