Sindiecate and Brain Wash Game have revealed new details on the gothic procedural Roguelike game, Nongünz, along with a new trailer. You can check out the trailer for the game in the player below. The game is set to hit Steam later this month.
The game features procedurally generated levels with a bloody, gothic, and dark retro style. Players will progress through constantly changing and Gothic inspired dungeons as they encounter a variety of lost souls who will provide them with extra abilities, some shortcuts in the dungeon and more.
The new trailer comes off a lot like Happy Tree Friends. It starts off really fun and cutesy, but then it gets very dark, gory and violent very quickly. The trailer doesn’t feature actual gameplay footage, but Flash animation instead. The actual gameplay features a pixelated 16-bit gameplay style. The game looks like it has a definite throwback and run and gun style, which might be of interest to certain players.
Nongünz will be available on May 19. The game will be priced $6.99 for Windows PC, Mac and Linux. To get a taste of some actual gameplay footage, you can check out the previously released gameplay trailer, which is also available below.
