The Ninth Passenger And Blood Bound Will Premiere At AFM
Film Mode Entertainment will be premiering two new horror thrillers at the 2017 American Film Market: The Ninth Passenger and Blood Bound.
The Ninth Passenger (screenshot seen above) is about a bunch of college students who spontaneously escape to the sea one night on a luxury yacht, and since they have no idea what they’re doing, they drift to a seemingly uninhabited island….where the titular Ninth Passenger climbs aboard and starts slashing them off one by one.
Following the screening of Ninth Passenger is Blood Bound, a new horror flick about a powerful family who visits a small rural town every 25 years to perform a dark ritual that requires four human sacrifices — and any of the unlucky residents could be targets. Not even the members of the family are safe as one of the sacrifices is required to share their blood.
“Audiences are going to have a lot of fun with The Ninth Passenger. The filmmakers have made a really entertaining film with great characters and great twist at the end,” says Clay Epstein, head of Film Mode. “Blood Bound is the perfect addition to our already impressive line-up of films.” adds Mathilde Epstein, COO of the company.
