Nidhogg 2 Set for PlayStation 4 Release in 2017
Gamers who have wanted a return to Nidhogg are in luck, as it’s coming to the PS4. Nidhogg 2 is officially getting a PlayStation 4 release. The developers have confirmed that the game is getting a PlayStation 4 version, and it will be released for the console later next year. This is the next installment in the Nidhogg series. The game is a nice throwback to classic action-adventure platformers, with some nice animated sprites and pixel-style graphics. The game will feature new visuals by artist Toby Dixon and music by Daedelus, Mux Mool, and Doseone. The game also features new moves and weapons. Each weapon in the game will bring its own play style for beating enemies.
Here are some other features for the upcoming sequel:
- Completely overhauled animations with monstrous art from Toby Dixon.
- 10+ levels of fencing goodness, including multiplayer (local/online) and tournament mode.
- Challenge the AI in single-player, including special challenge rounds.
- New soundtrack with music by Mux Mool, Dose One, Daedelus, and more.
The final release date for the game will be revealed later on. Nidhogg 2 will hit PlayStation 4 later in 2017. More details are to be announced later on.
