Next Spider-Man Film Will Have Never-Before-Used Villain
The problem with reboots in superhero films is that for certain heroes, there are villains you expect/want to see. But, after so many reboots, you’d rather new villains be shown off. For Spider-Man, the about-to-be-released Homecoming film features a new Spider-Man sure, but it also features The Vulture, a character who has never been seen in live-action.
In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige states that the trend of “never-used-before” villains will continue:
“We are excited to use characters that you haven’t seen before on screen. So that narrows it down a little bit in terms of who will pop up next,” Feige said. “Spider-Man has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to villains and there are a lot that haven’t been touched upon. It’s those that we will be looking at first.”
Believe it or not, a lot of fans are actually ok with this. After all, we’ve seen multiple forms of Green Goblin, and have had versions of Doctor Octopus, Sandman, Venom, Lizard, Electro, and more. Spider-Man does have one of the deepest villain rosters out there, so let the movies show them off! Many fans are hoping for villains like Mysterio and Kraven the Hunter to appear next. We’ll just have to wait and see who arrives next.

Yes, since new villains are more attention-getting since they are "new" to the eyes, so for sure it will make the movie all the more exciting.

I can't wait to watch this next one. I have been watching spider man for the longest time possible and I can't wait to see how interesting it will be with the new villains. 🙂
Thanks for sharing with us the link.

This could be an interesting approach. A new villain means new possibilities and maybe a new element to add in the story. Hopefully the villain will be both entertaining and intimidating toward the audience and not too bland or generic.

This would really make Spiderman movie franchise more interesting and appealing aside from the fact that the franchise is already a global hit. I can't wait for this movie to come to the big screen. Will definitely watch it.

I would have to say that the inclusion of Michael Keaton in the role of Vulture, the biggest villain in the Spider-Man Homecoming helped make this reboot a huge success at the box office. I'm sure that will see more reboots starring Tom Holland as spidey and a great line up of new, and refreshing villains to come.
