New RPG Proclaims, Stay Out Of My Dungeon!
Tabletop game creators 2 Handsome Games have created quite the unique concept with their new RPG Stay Out Of My Dungeon! It’s a cooperative building game for four to six players. The game concerns a gang of goblins attempting to defend their hangout from invaders, though any means necessary. With job classes like “Selfish Jerk” and “Spy,” part of your goal will be just getting the dysfunctional group to cooperate!
In Stay Out of My Dungeon! players take on the role of goblins trying to defend their dungeon from the greedy king Flumperdump. Players take turns visiting and building various locations in and around their dungeon. From flame throwing turrets, to sharkodile moats, to poison traps, players must work cooperatively to build each location to perfection before the King’s royal guard shows up.
Players accomplish this feat by drawing and playing Action cards. Action cards are either Construction Cards or Equipment/Spells. Construction cards are played face down at a location. Once enough cards are played, they’re shuffled and revealed. If the sum is high enough, the progress tracker for that location is increased.
As 2 Handsome points out, the majority of work on this game has already been completed thanks to an earlier crowdfunding effort. What needs attention is the art, and they are mainly crowdfunding again to get the cash to hire real artists. Prototype versions of Stay Out Of My Dungeon! have already made their way into the hands of reviewers, all of whom scored it positively.
So if you crowdfund Stay Out Of My Dungeon! today, you will definitely get a copy, especially since it’s already generated 3 1/2 times its backing goal (with 53 days to go!) See what you think here.
