New Alan Wake game may be an XBLA game
The sequel, prequel, DLC, arcade to Alan Wake will hit the Xbox Live marketplace according to XBLAfans. The game is supposedly named, Alan Wake: Night Springs. Night Springs is the in-game TV show that is a parody of the Twilight Zone that served as a optional and secondary story in the original game. More juicy details after the break!Remedy, the developers of Alan Wake have stated that “this next Wake installment will not be Alan Wake 2. And neither will it be DLC.” So an arcade title makes perfect sense and XBLAfans have said they have screenshots, but have been denied by Microsoft to release them.
XBLAfans have also leaked the new XBLA game, Gotham City Imposters, and the game was officially announced afterwards, so XBLAfans may also be right about Alan Wake: Night Springs. Only time will tell and tell us what you think of an Alan Wake arcade game in the comments section!

I feel like I was one of the few in the media that generally loved Alan Wake. I think an arcade title is a bad move though, and I would much rather see Remedy work on a sequel.

I swear critics loved Alan Wake… It’s got an 83 on Metacritic for the actual game, with an 80 for the “The Writer” expansion and a 75 for the “The Signal” expansion…
Maybe you’ve got it confused with Alone in the Dark
