Need for Speed: Rivals customisation trailer adds style to substance
By now, you’ve probably seen plenty of gameplay videos and trailers for Ghost Games’ beautiful, boisterous addition to the 19 year old Need for Speed series, but yesterday Electronic Arts released footage of what we’ve all been gagging to see since the title’s announcement: customisation possibilities.
Said footage, embedded below for convenience, showcases a wide range of personalisation options featured in the forthcoming racer, including aftermarket alloys, custom paint jobs, bespoke licence plates and boy racer decals. Additionally, players will be able to improve their ride’s top speed, acceleration, control, strength and durability with various performance modifications, as well as equip ‘Pursuit Tech’ to help them stop rivals in their tracks. It looks like bodywork alterations have been overlooked once again though, so if you were intending to slap an unsightly spoiler on your F12berlinetta this might come as a big disappointment.
Will you “cross the line” when Need for Speed: Rivals launches on November 19th? Will you be wreaking havoc on current gen, next gen or PC? Let us know in the comments field.
