Microsoft announces rewards for achievements.
Xbox live Rewards just announced via twitter that you will soon be able to receive rewards based on your achievements. Unfortunately they are unable to confirm any details. Hopefully they will actually give us Microsoft points and not just more garbage for avatars.
We’ve hit 50,000 followers, which means it’s time for an announcement! Coming Fall: a new way to earn Rewards based on your Achievements!

I figure the rewards will go down over time, quality wise. I wounder if its going to be retroactive, or if its going to have time limits to it, regarding new releases. The latter is my guess, ultimately they will be giving you a few dollars off the release price…. or some avatar stuff as you said. Or maybe they will stop the bing rewards, and it will just be a replacement. We will see i guess.

How about they stop advertising all over your dashboard while still charging you $60 a year for LIVE? It’s mostly peer to peer networking that costs them virtually nothing and they still charge you while having the nerve to clutter your dashboard with all sorts of garbage advertisements. Getting rid of that stuff would be a real reward.

Very true. Some would argue though due to its being one per page, and 90 percent of those come wit a perk for your avatar, and sweepstakes and so on.. Either way, they are having their cake and eating it too
