The fourth Trailer of Resident Evil 8 aka Resident evil Village is now released by Capcom. The trailer also confirms that the game will be out this May! As someone who lives in Quarantine, this excites me because I have something to keep me busy with this pandemic.
The Trailer shows mention a mysterious woman called Mother Miranda. The Villagers seemed to worship her like some sort of a guardian or saint. Lady Dimitrescu also seemed to be submissive to her and fears her. I assume Mother Miranda is the main antagonist of this game.
The Past Few Resident evil games had centered on female antagonists like Alex Wesker for Revelations 2, Carla Radames for Resident Evil 6, and Eveline for Resident evil 7. Heisenberg, the man who wears shades at night also shined more on this trailer. He seemed to be the leader of the Werewolves. He might be the first antagonist we will encounter before the infamous Tall Vampire Lady.
The Trailer ends with Ethan confronting Chris Redfield. We remember Chris seemed to have a Heel turn moment when he shot Mia, Ethan’s wife in cold blood. Fans were shocked by Chris’s action. Chris still acts like an ally despite of what he did in the previous trailer.
Capcom also revealed release dates for upcoming free demos for Resident evil Village.
Fans of Resident evil 4 and the Struggle DLC of Resident evil revelations 2 will enjoy Resident evil Village because features of said games will be applied here.
The Merchant from Resident evil 4 comes back as The Duke. You can sell and buy Items from him to upgrade your weapons. You can also hunt animals for food and sell him the meat and pay him for recipes. These recipes can power up Ethan.
Mercenaries is a feature that also comes back to this game. Fans were disappointed when it’s removed in Resident evil 2 and 3 remake. Now the favorite unlockable makes a comeback and it ads replay value to the game. Many fans thought Mercenaries were omitted in favor of Re:verse.
