Mass Effect 3 Wii U Will Include Extended Cut
EA has confirmed an interesting nugget of information for the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3…
“The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead. You won’t have to download it.” Michael Gamble, Series Producer
I’m glad to see it’s not even as on-disc DLC, it will be built in and seamless with your Wii U Mass Effect 3 experience. Anyone else picking this up? I am…

But…I mean…Nintendo only players wont have any idea what’s going on without the first and second games in the series. And if they’ve already played them on another console and give half a damn about the series, they’ve probably already bought ME3 in the first place. Who is this supposed to appeal to?

Exactly… release the series on PS3 and get the hardcore Sony fans instead.

this does seem to be a funny decision for a story-driven game, to introduce the last chapter first on a new platform.

Sweet baby Jesus I can’t believe I’m about to say this……I agree with Taylor.
Really I would never tell somebody who hasn’t played the first two games to jump into Mass Effect 3. The entire point of the game is to see the decisions you’ve made play out through all three of the games and finish this involved storyline.
I can’t imagine that Bioware is going to get very many sales out of this at all.
