Kate has 24 hours to live to avenge her upcoming Death
Kate is coming to Netflix and I feel blessed because this looks Cinematic. This September Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays the titular character. Winstead is not new with Action as she had been known for her roles in films like Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and Birds of Prey. This time she is not a love interest nor part of an ensemble. Finally! She the lead actress of an action film. Her experience in Birds of Prey really helped her in the movie. She shines because she looks like a natural as she portrays an Assassin.
This action flick is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, he is known for directing The Huntsman: Winter’s War. It is written by Umair Aleem who is also known for the Netflix hit Extraction.
KATE official trailer
Kate is an Assassin who will scour the Streets of Tokyo to kill all the people who killed her. Yes she is still alive and kicking but she only have 24 hours to live as she got infected by a poison. The Dead woman walking will try to find the members of the Crime syndicate who caused her upcoming death. She is not dead yet and time is of the essence. A person who have nothing do lose is more dangerous than a person with a lot to lose. Kate is about to die anyway so she might as well drag them to her grave. A big question for the audience, Is Kate going to die in the end or is there an antidote to the poison?
Kate’s final adventure will be joined by Ani(Miku Patricia Martineau), daughter of one of her previous targets and Varrick (Woody Harrelson). Fans of Japanese music are also excited for this movie because the Japanese Rock band Band-Maid makes an appearance on this film. They are also part of the soundtrack.
