Marvel’s Wolverine drops its teaser. The trailer doesn’t reveal much but it shows Logan drinking at a bar and a man armed with a knife about to attack him. We know what Logan tends to do to people who try to kill him.
X-men characters and Mutants are owned by Marvel but the cinematic rights belong to Fox back then. This made then Marvel President Ike Perlmutter try to depush X-men because they can’t use it to MCU. Perlmutter tried replacing the mutants with the Inhumans. Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite failed as a Game because Marvel made executive meddling by forcing Capcom to exclude X-men and Mutant characters. Now that Fox is purchased by Disney, X-men characters are being pushed in the comic books and video games again. We could see the Fox Marvel characters making MCU debuts.
Marvel’s Wolverine is the beginning of X-men comeback after Fox and Perlmutter ruined the IP. We could be seeing more X-men characters appearing in Marvel Multimedia now that Marvel reclaimed the IP from Fox.
Aside from Marvel’s Wolverine, Insomniac Games also releases a trailer for Spiderman 2, The sequel of their first Marvel IP game.
The Trailer shows Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up together. Peter and Miles have different colored costumes so you can differentiate both of them. A narrator with a sinistrous voice makes a dark monologue as the Spidermen battles their opponents. Cyber Spiderman who sports mechanical spider appendages are also shown in the trailer. The Trailer ends with Venom revealing his self to both Peter and Miles. He is the narrator of the trailer.
World War Z is coming back…kind of. It’s largely the same game, but it’s headed to a new platform (Nintendo Switch) with the Deluxe Edition that will contain all the content previously released on PS4 and XBox One. So finally, Switch can stand equally with its contemporaries, right? I hope
