Marv Wolfman Approves Of Justice League Deathstroke
Sorry, if you haven’t seen Justice League, you’re a bit out of luck here, because it’s been two weeks and this is too cool not to talk about. So, at the very end of Justice League, Warner Bros and DC Comics decided to give what could be one of the coolest end-credits sequences ever. For in it, a free Lex Luthor summons none other than Deathstroke to his yacht to discuss the newly formed Justice League. Right before teasing fans with, “Don’t you think we should have a league of our own?”
Fans immediately went nuts over the prospect of a live-action Injustice League, or, a more expanded (and comic book accurate) take on the Legion of Doom. Whatever comes first. But, fans can’t stop talking about Deathstroke, played in the scene by Joe Manganiello. But fans aren’t the only one talking, for the characters co-creator Marv Wolfman had this to say on Facebook:
“Over a week has passed so I think I can safely post this. If you haven’t yet seen Justice League, make sure you do. And stay to the very, very end. Photo courtesy of Joe Manganiello who looks like he stepped right out of the pages of New Teen Titans. Does he look perfect or what? Cannot wait to see where he appears next.”
Trust us Marv, we can’t wait either. And new box office reports that the earnings for Justice League end up being higher than expected. So, we must just see Injustice for all one day.
