The second half of Legends of Tomorrow’s first season begins this Thursday. And will feature not only more time traveling goodness, but the final push against Vandal Savage.
At WonderCon, the cast and crew came together to talk about the back half of the season. One of the big things they noted was that though this kind of thing hadn’t been done before on TV, and all the actors and actresses were more or less “ready” for this, there was still adjusting. Especially for some, as they had to adjust to the lighter tone of the show, as well as what goes into one.
“The big part of it is learning from each other and learning from our differences and figuring out how we can be a team.” On the behind the scenes side, Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim said they’ve learned too: “Fundamentally, we’ve learned what an episode can sustain. It’s something we went through with Arrow also. We’ve tried to focus each episode more. You’ll see that in the back half of the season.”
As the show has been renewed for a second season, the storyline will be “concluded” by seasons end. No major cliffhangers at least in regards to what’s happened:
“At the end of this season, you will get a definitive end of this chapter. You’ll get an answer about whether or not the team succeeds to stop Vandal Savage. You’ll get a resolution of the love triangle. You’ll get to know more about what the Time Masters are up to. I don’t think there are too many unanswered questions at the end of this season.”
Finally, a new trailer has dropped for the show, check it out here:
