Kojima Releases Behind-The-Scenes Documentary Video For Metal Gear Solid V
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, is apparently already wowing both reviewers and gamers alike with its fascinating and deep gameplay and typical Hideo Kojima Story.
To celebrate this, and give gamers a look inside the game itself, Kojima and Konami released a behind-the-scenes documentary video that shows the developers, actors, and more talking about the game and their part in making it come to life. This includes Kojima himself, who talked about how he kept doing this series long after he thought he would stop:
“I always felt that every chapter I made would be the last, and nothing would follow. But suddenly, before I knew it, 28 years had passed!” says Kojima.
Kojima also gave what many might consider a goodbye in the video, saying that it was because of the players that he lasted so long, and that he is grateful to them:
“The players are everything,” continues Kojima. “Without them, nothing I do would matter. My mission is to exceed their expectations. It’s all that matters to me. Their energy brought me to where I am today. In that sense, all the fans have created this game with me. So I wanted to express my thanks.”
