Kobold Press Presents The Vault Of Magic
Want to spice up your D&D campaigns? Open up the Vault of Magic. A new compendium from Kobold Press is in the works, and its crowdfunding campaign is setting Kickstarter on fire with over four times its goal already generated.
This new book adds over 800 new items to the game, from portions to spells to weapons to armor, and that isn’t counting the stretch goal items (many of which have already cleared). Says Kobold, “There’s something here for your game, whether it is a new game underway or a long-term campaign that needs a jolt of new inspiration—for both the heroes and the villains!”
There’s plenty of talent behind Vault of Magic…contributors to the volume include actress Deborah Ann Woll (Netflix’s Daredevil), Adam Bradford (founder of D&D Beyond), Celeste Conowitch (writer for Kobold, Wizards of the Coast and 2C Gaming as well as producer of the D&D podcast Venture Maidens), Luke Gygax (son of you know who), and more.
The cheapest tier for Vault of Magic that gets you a copy is the PDF version at $25. But if playing on a virtual tabletop is your goal, then you want to up that to $39, which is the tier that gives you a compatible copy with the VTT of your choice (Romm20, Fantasy Grounds or Shard). If it’s a physical copy you’re after, that takes a $49 pledge (plus shipping costs, which aren’t included with this campaign).
The Vault Of Magic will open this fall when copies begin shipping from Kobold Press.
