Nintendo are set to release a special Wii game collection to honour the 20th anniversary of Kirby.
Scott Moffitt, of Nintendo of America, has said:
“A new Mario game and a big Kirby celebration will help make 2012 an especially great year for Nintendo fans. Whether they’re playing at home on Wii or using Nintendo 3DS to have fun on the go, players can look forward to experiencing some of our biggest franchises in exciting ways.”
Not many details have been released as of yet, but we know it’s happening. Details on a release date and what Kirby games will be included in the collection to follow.
This has to potential to be an enjoyable and charming collection of platformers to pick up during the end of the Wii’s lifespan.
