Kingsman 2: Jeff Bridges Joins the Cast
Kingsman 2 has just had its latest cast member added. Academy Award winning actor Jeff Bridges revealed on his Twitter account today that he will be a part of the cast for the upcoming Kingsman sequel. The 2015 movie was a runaway hit, so a follow-up was bound to happen. You can check out Bridges’ reveal tweet below. The film is currently titled Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and it’s due out next year.
The Twitter for the teaser image features a quote for Bridges’ character, which reads, “The only Golden Circle I want vexing me is the one my glass leaves behind on the table.” Clearly, Bridges’ character will be a lover of fine liquors, whisky, scotch and the like. It should be interesting to see if the film can top the outrageousness from the first film.
Bridges is joining an all-star cast for the sequel, which already includes Taron Egerton returning as Eggsy from the first movie, Mark Strong as Merlin, along with hints that Colin Firth’s Harry Hart is also returning. Julianne Moore, Channing Tatum and Halle Berry are new to the cast for the upcoming sequel. Details to the story are slim. The first film is based on Mark Millar’s comic.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle arrives in theaters on June 17, 2017.
