In 2018, Renegade Studios introduced Kids On Bikes, a tabletop RPG that would become one of its best-selling products. In the game, you and your friends play a typical gang of kids (on bikes) straight out of an 80s movie or a Stranger Things episode. There are crazy things happening in your neighborhood, things involving ghosts and monsters, and the grownups are clueless as usual….it’s up to YOU to stop them, using whatever resources you can gather in the pre-Internet age. Kids On Bikes wound up inspiring a spinoff, Kids On Brooms, that takes the format and riffs on Harry Potter-type stories.
Now Kids On Bikes is expanding again…and they’re dealing with a Snallygaster Situation! Four gruesome monsters have landed in the town of Lakeview with the intent of destroying it and eating anyone in their way! They’ve already captured a kid…can you save him? Depends on if you can deduce each monster’s weakness, and if you can defeat them in time. Start pedaling…the world’s safety relies on you! Each game takes 45 minutes to an hour.
Kids On Bikes: The Snallygaster Situation is available now for preorder on the Renegade Studios website, in two tiers. Snally-Buster, at $60, comes with the game plus an exclusive, not-sold-in-stores “Far Out Rides” promo pack. The Retailer Bundle is for hobby shops and ships six copies of The Snallygaster Situation at a discount ($180).
Kids On Bikes: The Snallygaster Situation will be available this July.
