The new video debuts the first actual gameplay footage for the highly anticipated sequel to one of the most badass action-adventure video game franchises of the modern age. The new is actual gameplay captured in-game using cinematic camera angles. None of the footage was taken from cutscenes or scripted, cinematic events. In Just Cause 3, Rico Rodriguez returns to battle the regime of a ruthless dictator, General Di Ravello. He seeks to liberate his home, the Mediterranean republic of Medici. Just Cause 3 is set to feature an open-world sandbox that has 400 square miles of complete freedom from the sky to the seabed; not to mention a cavalcade of weaponry, gadgets and vehicles to unleash on Rodriguez’s enemies.
The franchise’s unique blend of action and explosive, free-roaming mayhem looks to definitely be back in full force. Not to mention, the game was completely developed and built for next-gen consoles. Just Cause 3 is currently scheduled for a holiday 2015 release date. The game is being developed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
