Jurassic World: New Extended First Look and Showcase for Paleontologist Jack Horner
Jurassic World, the long awaited fourth installment in the classic Jurassic Park movie franchise, finally hits theaters later this week. However, before that happens, Universal Pictures has released two new videos to get audiences more hyped up and better acquainted with the scaly and reptilian stars of the film, who have waited 65 million years for their big break. Both clips are available below.
The first video is a new trailer of sorts, offering a fun montage of clips for the some of the high-stakes action set-pieces of the film. This definitely looks to be a much more action-packed Jurassic Park sequel, especially compared to Jurassic Park 3.
The second video is a look behind the scenes of the film with the project’s paleontologist consultant Jack Horner. Horner has been an advisor to every cinematic installment of the franchise to help make sure the utilization of dinosaurs is as real and authentic as possible. However, the film features a brand-new, genetically altered hybrid dinosaur called the Indominus Rex or I-Rex. Horner assisted the production team to help design the I-Rex, so his comments on the creation of a new dinosaur for the film are definitely interesting.
Jurassic World hits theaters on June 12.
