JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean OP song reveal
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean reveals its official theme song. Warner Brothers Japan revealed that the song is simply titled Stone Ocean. It is the first debut Opening theme of a Jojo Anime that is sung by a woman. Most Jojo opening songs had been sung by men. Except for Part 4 Diamond is Unbreakable because Great Days was sung by Karen Aoki. That song though is not the first intro of Part 4. Stone Ocean is sung by Ichigo. She is the vocalist of the rock band JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets. People have most have positive comments for the song and the intro because of the CGI graphics and comic pop art aesthetic.

Fans who read the Manga will recognize all the clues, easter eggs, and spoilers shown in the Intro. It also introduces the three main female leads. Jolyne posing with Hermes and F.F is are rare refreshing occurrence in Shonen Anime because most shonen serials have male protagonists and females are sidelined. It is the first CGI intro in the series since Part 3.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean is the 6th Installment of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series by Hirohiko Araki‘. Each Installment of the Jojo series centers around a Joestar family clan member who happens to have the nickname, Jojo. Jolyne is the first and only female Jojo in the series. All previous parts of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures are available on Netflix. The latest season will premiere on Netflix this December 1st.
The Anime centers around Jolyne Cujoh, A typical Valley girl who got a sentence in prison for 15 years. She is the daughter of the third Jojo, Jotaro Kujo but sadly they had an estranged relationship. Jolyne was sent a pendant that will unlock her power that will protect her from the dangers of the Dolphin Bay Prison.
