Jessica Jones Gets Release Date, Announcement Trailer
The next installment in the Netflix/Marvel collaborations, Jessica Jones, has finally gotten a release date, and an announcement trailer!
Now to be honest, many were unsure when we might get to see Jessica Jones, as it’s been filming for a while, but no word was given other than “later this year” about when it would debut. Now we know it’s coming November 20th, and that means the real fun and speculation can begin.
Jessica Jones is based on the Marvel Comics character created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos. In the Netflix series, ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.
Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter in the lead role, David Tennant as Kllgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Rachael Taylor as Patsy Walker, as well as Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval.
