Is “Shadow Of The Tomb Raider” The Title Of Lara’s Next Adventure?
Word on the street is that we have a title for the third Lara Croft game to be produced under the Square-Enix umbrella: “Shadow of the Tomb Raider.” And we know this because some fool openly worked on a document bearing the mysterious title on a crowded Montreal subway.
Standing near him was the Reddit user who took a few snapshots and posted them to the site, with commentary. “The page he was on talked about visuals,” the main said to Kotaku. “I’m from Montreal, QC. I was going downtown for work and I took a quick snap. I really would love to say more but other than the title, the rest was blurry from where I was.”
The story checks out so far: we know Lara’s development studio, Eidos, has a branch in Quebec where the next Tomb Raider is reportedly being developed. And this just confirms it.
It seems to be a bad place for keeping secrets, or at least for employing people who can be counted on to not slip up. Three years ago, the title “Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag” also slipped out due to an open laptop display on an airplane flying into the region.
