Inner Ghosts Emerges January 2020
Uncork’d Entertainment’s first horror release of the decade will be Inner Ghosts, a paranormal thriller starring Celia Williams.
Helen is both a research scientist and a medium. She believes what makes a human being is stored in two separate places: the innards of the brain and the innards of the soul. Of course, no one’s going to accept her theory without proof, so she starts experimenting with ghosts. And that’s where things go wrong.
Maybe she picked the wrong ghosts. I’m sure Casper or Nearly Headless Nick would’ve been happy, obedient subjects, but Helen brought in these gross, goopy, slimy specters who are needlessly violent and are now attacking people for no clear reason. Now Helen has a new assignment: find out what the ghosts are after, and stop them, if possible. Can she clean up her own mess? She WILL need a mop.
Inner Ghosts stars Celia Williams, Elizabeth Bochmann, and Iris Cayatte, and was written and directed by Paula Leite. It’ll be hitting DVD and digital January 2020.
If ghosts can think and remember who they are, then the physical brain is not the only place where we store our inner selves. Helen is asked to train two young women into the art of communicating with the dead. But Helen’s days as a medium are long gone. In fact, she gave up that life 15 years ago when she lost her daughter. Today Helen is a different woman dedicated to her career in brain research. Things start to change when a visit from the other side offers her the design of a device that can do amazing things. But to everything there is a risk.
