Injustice 2: New Story Trailer Dropped Today
The march toward Injustice 2 continues with the game just being a couple short months away from its eventual release. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment dropped a new trailer today for Injustice 2. The “Shattered Alliances Part 3” trailer showcases off the game’s cinematic story and involves Supergirl. You can check out the video featuring new footage below.
The new story video showcases how Supergirl fits into the world of Injustice 2 and the ongoing war in Batman’s resistance against the tyrannical Superman’s regime. There’s also new gameplay footage against the likes of Black Adam. Laura Bailey looks like she’s doing a good job voicing the new Supergirl. Since Supergirl is in the game, it would probably make sense if she gets an alternate skin resembling the Supergirl from The CW TV series.
Injustice 2 is developed by Mortal Kombat 9 and Mortal Kombat X developer NetherRealm Studios, the same studio behind Injustice: Gods Among Us. The game will feature an epic roster of DC super heroes and super-villains. The game launches on May 16. It will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in multiple editions. It’s not yet been announced if the game will make it to Windows PC or Nintendo Switch.
