Harley Quinn is one of the rare cases of a character being so popular out of comics, that she got put into them. First appearing in Batman: The Animated Series, then being transferred into the comic lore, she’s so popular most don’t know she wasn’t there in the first place.
With the New 52, Harley has become even more popular, being in the Suicide Squad, her own comic series, and series spinoffs and mini-series. Now, she’s getting yet another mini-series, but this one, as noted by Comic Vine, is based on the “gang of Harley’s” that she’s teamed up with in her main comic.
This six-issue mini-series titled ‘Harley Quinn and Her Gang of Harleys’ will be co-written by Palmiotti and Frank Tieri, with interior art by Mauricet and covers by Amanda Conner.
Here is the official synopsis for the series:
“Straight from the pages of HARLEY QUINN comes the story of her strange new army of assistants, the Gang of Harleys! In this new miniseries, they’ve been on the job for just a few months, and the Gang is ready to stand up and show what they can do without Harley…and they just might have to, because Harley’s been kidnapped! The Gang’s homes, their loved ones—they’re all in danger from a strange new villain with a very personal grudge against Harley!”
