The finale to the Arkham series is coming this June with Batman: Arkham Knight, but the story of the game is already being told in comics to help build it up.
Futhermore, Amazon has revealed that the Harley Quinn Arkham Knight DLC is much more than just simply playing as Harley herself. The game will be a prequel story, featuring Harley breaking into the Bludhaven Police Department to save long-time best friend Poison Ivy. Here’s the official description:
“For the first time in the Arkham series take on the role of Joker’s psychotic side-kick Harley Quinn and wreak havoc inside the Blüdhaven Police Department. With this exclusive Story Pack experience events in the lead-up to Arkham Knight as you infiltrate Blüdhaven to rescue your partner in crime: Poison Ivy. Delve deep into Harley’s demented nature and utilize her devastating baseball bat to smash, crash and bash your way to a friend very much in need.”
This will no doubt be a HUGE joy to Batman fans, cause as stated above, this is the first time we’ll get to play as Harley. Also though, the Harley/Ivy friendship is a much loved thing in the Batman universe. We saw a glimpse of them being friends in Arkham Asylum, but this could be much more than that. And we’re all for that!
