Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special Premieres February 9
NOTE: our apologies for posting two articles about the same damn thing ten minutes apart. I try not to have this happen, honest.
There will somehow be a fourth season of HBO Max’s Harley Quinn, even against such forces as a cartoon-hating emperor of WB and a revamping of the DC Universe that throws out all that came before. We may have to wait a bit for it though (and you know how long the wait between seasons 2 and 3 was). This time, however, we’re getting something in the interim: a holiday special premiering next month.
Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special starts with Harley wanting to make her Valentine’s date with Ivy the best in the entire world and ends with her accomplishing that job a little…TOO well? I don’t think we can say why. The trailer below will answer that question (but don’t play it at work). In the meantime Clayface and Bane have Valentine’s plans of their own, but of course their experiences are a lot more pathetic.
Practically everyone will be appearing in A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special, even a couple new faces. The stacked cast list includes Kaley Cuoco as Harley Quinn, Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as Clayface and Joker, Matt Oberh as Kite Man, James Wolk as Superman, Natalie Morales as Lois Lane, Chris Diamantopoulos as Aquaman, James Adomian as Bane, Jim Rash as The Riddler, Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman, Rachel Dratch as Nora Freeze and Michael Ironside as Darkseid. Guest stars include Janet Varney (Legend of Korra), Leila Birch (EastEnders), Tyler James Williams (Abbott Elementary), Josh Helman (Wayward Pines) and Casey Wilson (Happy Endings).
You can watch Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special starting February 9 on HBO Max.
