Arc System Works officially announced today that Guilty Gear Xrd: REV 2 has now launched on Windows PC via steam. The game is the latest installment of the hi-speed 2D fighting game franchise. The new installment is a 2.5 brawler in the post apocalypse. Players will be able to select from 25 fighters from the roster.
New playable characters for Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 include Baiken and Answer. Other existing characters from the franchise have received new tweaks and balances, along with new moves and techniques. Other features include new storyline scenarios, new episodes for various characters and a number of improvements to online gameplay modes.
Additionally, Arc System Works has confirmed that gamers will need Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR in order to play Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, since it is in fact a DLC upgrade. Players will be able to purchase Revelator and the Xrd REV 2 DLC together on Steam for $59.99. The base upgrade costs $18.99. Here’s a full list of the system requirements:
