Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is coming to all current gen consoles this coming November 11. Now a new life is given to classics.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy gives a new life to three classic Sandbox games. This is a remaster not a remake, so complaining about the graphics is unfair because these are 20 years old Ps1 titles. I had seen people making rants on how terrible character models are when these are old games. The characters open their mouths now when they talk and their hands finally have fingers. There is a controversy though because the original versions of the games are removed from digital retailers. People think videogame preservation and option of choice for what versions fans want to playplay should not be removed.
This compilation is composed of remasters of Grand Theft Auto III (2001), Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002), and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004). I can say it looks better than the remaster of Final Fantasy VIII. People who don’t like the human models can buy a PC version and use mods,
From Ps1 characters, the human models now look like they are from PS2. Meanwhile, the Environments look current-gen. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy is a remaster so comparisons to the remake of Resident evil games and Final Fantasy VII are unfair because those remakes are built from scratch. Remaking Sandbox games with open worlds will be harder because building everything from scratch causes a lot of funds. They give a fresher coat of paint and textures to games that didn’t age well. Now they look more current. If I know, People complaining about the graphics playing Minecraft and Roblox.
People who played GTA 5 as their first game can catch up playing these classic games because GTA V controls will be an option.
