GORSD Lands On Consoles And PC
The Singaporean game studio Springloaded has just released GORSD on consoles and PC. What is a GORSD anyway? According to them, it stands for “Grid Of Ridiculous Sudden Death” and it’s the moniker for a collective of mysterious and powerful beings, believed to be gods but no one can say for sure.
Our nameless protagonist was born in the realm of the GORSD but has no idea who he is or why he exists. All he knows is, he wants out — and he’s also in a biomechanical octopus suit for some reason, which provides unexpected advantages. In the single-player mode, use your suit’s abilities to explore the temple of the GORSD, planning your battle strategy by carefully aiming the ONE bullet in your possession (fortunately it’s reusable).
GORSD also has a multiplayer mode that can be played in eight different styles across 78 different maps. Familiar games like Deathmatch and Domination can be played, along with matches of Springloaded’s own creation like Hunter and Bullet Paint.
- You have just one bullet, fire it, control it and collect it.
- 1-4 player couch battles
- 8 multiplayer game modes with modifiable rules, set over 70 unique maps.
- 7 hour single player game, set in a large overworld containing more than 60 battle stages.
- Strategize by not only thinking about where you need to go, but also where your projectile needs to go.
GORSD is available starting today for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, XBox One and PC via Steam.
