Go/Don’t Go Goes To Digital January 12
Kamikaze Dogfight and Gravitas Ventures have acquired North American rights to a tense thriller with a weird title: Go/Don’t Go.
It’s the apocalypse, but unlike the previous movie we talked about, it’s kept vague as to what caused society to fall (might’ve been the sun, might’ve NOT been the sun, who knows). It’s in this setting that we meet Adam, the last man on Earth…at least, as far as he knows. He tries to keep from going crazy in the isolation, but he’s bad at it because he keeps seeing visions, sometimes about past events of his life, like the day he met the girl of his dreams.
Now she’s literally in his dreams…or is she? Is she still out there? Is anyone still out there? As Adam’s sanity slips further, he loses the ability to tell what is real and what he’s imagining. It’s worth pointing out his girlfriend is named K. Who in the world names their daughter K — maybe she doesn’t exist at all?
“There is pure magic in the timing of its release,” says Han Soto of Kamikaze Dogfight. “We have been quarantining since February/March of this year and a lot of people have gone stir-crazy (even with access to FaceTime, phones, texts, etc.); Imagine if all of that was stripped away and you’re alone with nothing but you and your thoughts. That’s GO/DON’T GO; If you sit and think about it for a second, it’s not that far-fetched from our immediate reality.”
Go/Don’t Go stars Alex Knapp, Olivia Luccardi, Nore Davis, Bettina Skye, Tom Essig, and Zoey Wagner. It was written and directed by Knapp, and this is his first film. Look for it January 12 on digital platforms like iTunes, Amazon and Google Play….or don’t, it’s your choice.
