Geoff Johns Promising New DC TV Series
DC Comics and DC Films President Geoff Johns dropped a lot of interesting tweets recently, and one specifically pertains to the future of DC Comics properties on television. According to Johns, another TV show based on DC Comics on the way, and you can check out his tweet below.
Johns mentioned DC Entertainment’s other TV shows, such as The Flash, Arrow, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Lucifer, and Supergirl. Basically, there are quite a few successful DC Comics shows are on the tube right now. However, Johns also teased that there are “many more” on the way. Specifically, he also said, “One which will be announced soon…”
Whatever that show could be is an absolute mystery. But based on the results on the other shows, which have all been fairly successful, it seems to be a good bet that it will do well. Another TV series, Powerless, which is set within the DC Universe, is supposed to launch later in 2017. Either way, it should be interesting to see what DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. TV come up with next. I’m not saying it has to be a Booster Gold or a Booster Gold and Blue Beetle TV show, but that would be very nice.

It seems that right now Marvel is ruling the movies while DC's television selection is growing. I'm curious about what they'll have as a new series, mind you. Booster Gold would be great, and given he doesn't care about paradoxes (he tends to use them) it could be a really interesting time travel series. Do you think they would include Rip Hunter and the other multiversal individuals, or would that be too confusing? It would be a great excuse to explore elseworlds featuring the stars of their other series.
