Gen Con Enters Merch Deal With Rollacrit
Gen Con, the world’s longest-running convention devoted to tabletop gaming, began in 1968 and, fifty years later, can’t be stopped by anything, not even a global pandemic. Though the proliferation of the vaccine means life is slowly returning to normal in 2021, Gen Con will be moving forward with a hybrid-style convention this year. It’ll exist in three forms simultaneously: Gen Con Indy, Gen Con Online, and Pop-Up Gen Con.
Whether you choose to attend the virtual or IRL versions of Gen Con, you’ll be looking for T-shirts and mugs to take home, and that’s where their new deal with Rollacrit comes in. The analog-gaming lifestyle company will be offering Gen Con-branded apparel, merchandise, homeware, drinkware, and gaming accessories as convention souvenirs. Though the convention isn’t until this fall, Rollacrit launched their line of products today on their website.
“As a relatively new company created by lifelong tabletop enthusiasts, we at Rollacrit are beyond excited to partner with Gen Con,” said Rollacrit founder Erin Zipperle. “Whether you’re attending in-person or virtually, you’ll find convention exclusives available onsite and at Rollacrit.com, the official online home for Gen Con merchandise. Be on the lookout in the coming weeks as we unveil more products in the collection.”
The official Gen Con Rollacrit merch will be available at Gen Cons virtual and physical. Gen Con 2021 runs from September 16 though September 19 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
