Games With Gold For February Revealed
Microsoft’s Major Nelson has revealed the four games that will be available for Xbox Live Gold members in February through the Games With Gold program. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and Monkey Island 2: SE will be ready to download from the beginning of the month, while Project Cars and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be available from February 16. As is usual, the Xbox 360 games will also be compatible with the Xbox One.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is an indie game that was released as part of the ID@Xbox program in September 2015. It was designed with co-operative gameplay in mind and tasks players with piloting a spaceship through a variety of levels, with each player taking control of one aspect of the vehicle. This means that you have to balance between attacking and defending to ensure that the spaceship does not get destroyed.
Project Cars is the highly acclaimed racing simulator from Slightly Mad Studios. It was originally released in May 2015 and meant to be a realistic motorsport game. It allows players to progress through the ranks from karting to racing high-performance sports cars, with more than 70 vehicles and 110 different race courses, including 24 real-world locations.
Monkey Island 2: SE is the sequel to the first graphic adventure game by LucasArts. It continues the story of protagonist Guybrush Threepwood, with the game being led by Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer, and Dave Grossman. This Special Edition version is a high definition remake of the original game that was released in 2010 for the Xbox 360.
Lastly, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an action-adventure game where players take control of a previously unknown force user who becomes the secret apprentice of Sith Lord Darth Vader. As the story progresses, Starkiller begins to rebel against Vader as he turns to the light side of the force.
