Full English Dub Cast Revealed For Trigun Stampede
Trigun Stampede, the remake of the famous 1998 anime, premiered on January 7 in Japanese. Its English version is due out mere hours from now. Crunchyroll waited until pretty much the last minute to reveal who’s playing who, but they sent us the full list at last.
You already know Johnny Yong Bosch is reprising Vash. But is anyone else returning? Doesn’t seem like it. Sarah Roach (Fire Force) has been cast as Meryl Stryfe, Ben Bryant (My Hero Academia) is playing Roberto De Niro, Austin Tindle (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is Millions Knives, Kristen McGuire (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) is Young Vash, Megan Shipman (SPY x FAMILY) is Young Knives and Emily Fajardo (WONDER EGG PRIORITY) is Rem Saverem.
Once again, for those in the back, here’s what Trigum Stampede is about: on the planet of No Man’s Land, there’s no gunslinger more dreaded than Vash the Stampede. The bounty on his head is tremendous. So when reporter Meryl Stryfe and her partner look into it, they’re perplexed to meet a nervous goofball who’s also a total pacifist. He is responsible for a lot of damage, but it’s because he’s prone to causing catastrophes wherever he goes. They soon find out, though, that it’s Vash’s estranged twin brother who’s the REAL problem — and if they can’t stop him, he’ll destroy the world.
The first dub episode and the third sub episode of Trigun Stampede premiere tomorrow on Crunchyroll and Hulu. Here’s a preview of episode #3 for you…
