We’re coming ever closer to the American release day for the latest One Piece movie, called One Piece Film Red. Today a few new bits of news came out regarding the film and its impending US premiere.
The Straw Hats are big fans of Uta, the world’s most popular masked singer, and when she promises to reveal her face for the first time during a special concert, Luffy just HAS to be there — even though he’s a super-wanted pirate. But he’s destined to find something out about Uta no one knew before — she is the daughter of Shanks.
Ahead of the NYCC One Piece panel scheduled for October 8, Crunchyroll has revealed the full English dub cast list for the film. There aren’t many surprises here, with the exception of Uta — she’s been given the voice of popular American YouTube star AmaLee. You’ve heard of AmaLee, right? ….Don’t feel bad, I haven’t either.
