What made you decide to try out for Power Rangers?

What made you decide to try out for Power Rangers? And if applicable, did you originally try out for a different character?

It was a big "cattle call" audition in Sydney (means they call just about everyone. My agent asked me to have a look at the original Power Rangers movie before I decided if I wanted to audition or not. I rented the movie - watched it for about 5 mins and though "hell yeah!!". It's every boys dream - I'm sure for many girls too. I just wanted to play a super hero. Who doesn't?

No, we didn't really audition for characters. They basically auditioned us with very generic scripts - the first one was someone in high school asking a girl out to the ball.
