We were beginning to think we’d never get the chance to report this, but it’s finally happened: Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood has been released. The game was first announced in January of 2017 and has probably been in development for longer than that.
Earthblood is based on the classic tabletop RPG and focuses on Cahal, a banished werewolf who is forced to return to his tribe after he desperately needs their help. He’s got a new quest that’s bigger than him or any petty squabble between lycans: Endron Intrernational, a powerful and evil corporation, is polluting and destroying their homeworld, and they must unite to take them down.
One would assume in a violent beat-em-up like this, you would prefer to be a manwolf all the time, but the gameplay is a bit more varied than that. Cahal has the ability to change from werewolf to human and back, and there are times when either one is advantageous.
