Thought this might interest more than a few people, since many download shows and movies in divx/xvid and other formats.

This nifty little program, Tversity, will allow you to stream virtually any audio/video file to your Wii/PS3/Xbox360 through wifi. Haven't tested it on my Wii yet but intend to do that very soon.

The strong point is that tversity will re-encode a file on the fly so it can be accepted by your console for playback.

I'll gladly tell you how I fare with this program as soon as I'm able to get a decent Wifi connection up and running. I'm using a USB-stick wifi connector but the signal seems to be too weak (PC is upstairs, Wii is downstairs).

According to my DS, the signal only carries until halfway the stairs :disappoin
Hmm, either I got to find a way to boost the signal or try different hardware, perhaps a router...
