Tabletop Visual Game vs Physical Game

Many people nowadays are not playing board games or card games anymore, because they think it is a waste of time.
They would rather play on their cellphones or computers because they think they can have more fun from them.
Which one do you prefer more? Or both?

Hands down, board game. On my dad's side of the family, I have this aunt. Her family grew up playing them weekly. I guess as the grew up and got to play them together less and less they had to make a new tradition. Every Christmas and Thanksgiving they have dinner and afterwards they bring out Monopoly or Life. I got to be a part of that and I haven't experience anything like it since I was a little girl. My mom's side of the family isn't like that, big on games, and I spend most holidays with them now.

When I was a teenager, I did have this friend whose mom loved board games. Whenever there was snow days or blackouts, I loved going over their house.
