WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH BEING A VIRGIN.

Why is there such a stigmata that follows virgins around? Why is it such a bad thing?

I was a virgin until I was 22 - by choice. I wanted to be with a man I loved and who loved me, and who had a relationship with me. I am still with that man.

But I was PROUD to be a 22 year old virgin. Virginity isn't a disease we have to cure, guys.

I KNOW!!! Granted, I'm a virgin for religious reasons that leave me clawing at the walls, but I don't understand why I should be ashamed about this detail in my life. I've literally told people I'm a virgin and gotten "why" as a responce; and when I explain the religious thing they respond with "who'd know, c'mon"

I went to school with people just having sex left and right. So far, none of those relationships are still together and one girl I knew from Junior High got pregnant her first year of high school. Just be careful man, and try to have your next time have a little more meaning.
